ABOUT US
The Brighter View Care Team is dedicated to providing the best care and quality services for our members with Developmental Disability. Our programs are funded and supported by the Arizona Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD). Our Programs focus on tailoring activities to the individual needs of each member as well as understanding the different level of needs that each member has.
We support our participants by building upon their current strengths and accommodating their Person-Centered Service Plan (PCSP) to meet their individual goals.
BE SUPPORTED IN THE HOME & COMMUNITY
RESPITE
This service provides short-term care and supervision consistent with the health needs of the person to supplement care to provide a safe environment and/or to support or relieve caregivers for the benefit of the person. Services are to provide supervision either in or outside of the home, as well as supporting the emotional, physical, and mental well-being of the member.
HABILITATION
This service provides a variety of interventions designed to maximize the functioning of persons with developmental skills, behavior intervention, and sensorimotor development. Services are designed to assist individuals in acquiring, retaining, and improving the self-help, socialization, and adaptive skills necessary to reside successfully in-home and community-based settings.
ATTENDANT CARE
This service provides a qualified individual to supply needed services for an individual to remain in his/her home and/or participate in work/community activities. The service goals are to assist the member to attain or maintain safe and sanitary living conditions and/or maintain personal cleanliness and activities of daily living.
Independent Living
(IDLA-non-licensed residential living) Any member who is eligible to receive services through the Division of Developmental Disabilities and is 18 years of age or older could potentially choose to live in an individually designed living arrangement (IDLA). A member would live in their own home/apartment, they may or may not have a roommate(s), and they would be responsible to pay all of their own expenses, such as rent, utilities, and groceries. These are not licensed residences. An IDLA is the members chosen home where they, along with their families and selected providers, work together to help with teaching and/or honing self-help skills, providing supervision that can help increase a member’s autonomy and responsibility, socialization skills, and adaptive skills that can further their independence in their chosen living situation.

BE SUPPORTED INTO THE WORKFORCE
SUPPORTED EMPLOYMENT
Group Supported Employment (GSE) Services offer paid, on-site supervised work in the community for individuals in both competitive (individual) and integrated (group) settings. Individuals in supported employment workplaces gain independence, knowing specially-trained job coaches are available, as needed, to offer guidance and support. Job coaching guidance and support are shared in either group or individual settings, through group-supported and individual-supported employment.
TRANSITION SERVICES
Transition services provide the information needed to make informed choices, regarding future employment opportunities. These services, which include Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS), Transition to Employment, (TTE), and Career Preparation and Readiness (CPR), help individuals transition to work from either school or a less-integrated environment.
